- Assist residents with activities of daily living(ADL's which include but not limited to washing, dressing/undressing, cueing, toileting, brief changes etc.)
- Escorting residents to meals and activities
- Serve meals to residents as set out by the cooks
- Communicate any changes to the Nurse pertaining to skin/health, behaviours, moods etc.
- Help promote independence
- Be a good listener, caring and kind
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Can work well independently and as a team
- Must have First Aid and CPR
- Police check for Vulnerable Sector
- Certified PSW with or without medication Administration Certificate
- Should have actively worked as PSW in the last 2 years

Registered Practical Nurse
- Distribute medications to residents, take vitals
- Ongoing evaluation of resident care plan
- To respond to and manage significant changes in residents condition and/or medical emergencies
- To supervise and delegate care responsibilities to care providers
- to complete all other tasks as assigned
- To contribute to the shared responsibility of ensuring health & safety policies are followed
- Able to work independently as well as a team
- Job task planning and organizing
